Welcome to Fond Gens Libre - The Valley of The FREE People
Special attention will be given to the community of Fond Gens Libre at the base of Gros Piton, and the 1795 Battle of Rabot.
The battle was launched from Fond Gens Libre by Saint Lucian heroine Flore Bois Gaillard. She and her troops defeated the British and this victory resulted in Saint Lucia enjoying a year of unfettered freedom through 1796.

This webinar series introduces Saint Lucians and the world to a facet of our history that remains largely unknown. By sharing this history, we seek to empower attendees with a deeper sense of self-worth and national pride than currently exists, and look forward to its uplifting impact to help us all be The Best That We Can Be!
